This course is designed to make existing ArcMap and ArcCatalog users proficient in the basic skills required to be productive ArcGIS Pro users. You will learn the new terminology associated with ArcGIS Pro, how to navigate the interface and more.

Intended Audience
This course is intended for existing ArcMap and ArcCatalog users which need to learn how to translate those skills and workflows to ArcGIS Pro.
Prerequisites and requirements
Students taking this course must have prior experience using ArcMap and/or ArcCatalog. No previous experience using ArcGIS Pro is needed.

Students will need to provide their own computer capable of running ArcGIS Pro and be assigned an ArcGIS Pro Basic or higher license from their organization prior to class which can be accessed from the web. This should be verified prior to the start of class. You can find the current system requirements at http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/arcgis-pro-system-requirements.htm. If your organization cannot assign you a license before the workshop, you can use a free trial license which you can request from https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-pro/trial. You will need to use an email address that is not associated with your employer.

Presenter Bios:
Tripp Corbin is the Chief Executive Officer and Lead Instructor for eGIS Associates. He is an award winning Certified Trainer with over twenty years of experience orchestrating and managing geospatial projects. He is recognized as an industry expert with a variety of geospatial software packages including Esri, Autodesk and Trimble products. Tripp has authored the two books on ArcGIS Pro, Learning ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Pro 2.x Cookbook. He is a past President of URISA International and serves on the editorial board for the CDCs Journal on Preventing Chronic Disease. He holds many certifications including GIS Certified Professional, Esri ArcGIS Desktop Associate and Professional, ArcGIS Enterprise System Design Associate, CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer, Microsoft Certified Professional, and URISA Workshop Instructor.
