This course takes you through the basic editing workflow used in ArcGIS Pro 2.x. Students review the Edit tab plus the Modify Features and Create Features pane. Feature templates are introduced and explained to provide a thorough understanding of how they work in the ArcGIS Pro editing methodology. The snapping environment is also explained. The skills and knowledge you gain in this course applies regardless of the licensing level you use (Basic, Standard or Advanced).

Lesson 1: Introduction to ArcGIS for Desktop Editing Workflow
Lesson 2: Creating New Features
Lesson 3: Editing Existing Features
Lesson 4: Editing Attribute Tables
Lesson 5: Editing using Topologies
Lesson 6: Editing Annotation

Target Audience:
This course is for those wishing to learn more about editing GIS data using ArcGIS Pro. Some ArcGIS Pro experience is assumed.

Prerequisites and recommendations:
Students taking this course should have completed the Migrating to ArcGIS Pro or Learning ArcGIS Pro 1: Maps and Projects courses or have similar real world experience. In addition, they should have a general understanding of computers and how to work in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Students will need to provide their own computer capable of running ArcGIS Pro and be assigned an ArcGIS Pro Basic or higher license from their organization prior to class which can be accessed from the web. This should be verified prior to the start of class. You can find the current system requirements at http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/arcgis-pro-system-requirements.htm. If your organization cannot assign you a license before the workshop, you can use a free trial license which you can request from https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-pro/trial. You will need to use an email address that is not associated with your employer.

Presenter Bios:
Tripp Corbin is the Chief Executive Officer and Lead Instructor for eGIS Associates. He is an award winning Certified Trainer with over twenty years of experience orchestrating and managing geospatial projects. He is recognized as an industry expert with a variety of geospatial software packages including Esri, Autodesk and Trimble products. Tripp has authored the two books on ArcGIS Pro, Learning ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Pro 2.x Cookbook. He is a past President of URISA International and serves on the editorial board for the CDCs Journal on Preventing Chronic Disease. He holds many certifications including GIS Certified Professional, Esri ArcGIS Desktop Associate and Professional, ArcGIS Enterprise System Design Associate, CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer, Microsoft Certified Professional, and URISA Workshop Instructor.
